I am very much looking forward to visiting Stivichall Primary School in Coventry on Thursday to help with their World Book Day activities. I will be reading an extract from a Charlie Lupton adventure to a couple of classes and then the pupils will have a go at writing their own stories. Apparently they are going to dress up as characters from their favourite children’s book - should be fun!

I recently heard about a Japanese Company, ALE, and their project called Sky Canvas. This involves launching a satellite which will fire tiny pellets from space into the atmosphere.

‘I dunno,’ said Charlie, ‘let’s go and see.’

They made their way through the crowd of children. When they got to the front they stood, open-mouthed.

All checks have now been completed and the first batch should be shipped from the printers in the next few days! Meanwhile the International Space Station continues to orbit the earth.
